Gum disease on the lower left jaw
#1
I just had a regular ulcer in my mouth which comes frequently I usually don't really bother about it. But this one became a bit more serious, as days go it started to have more pain and the size of the ulcer started to get more big and darker as well, I got a bit worried and the pain makes me weak. It is really uncomfortable to have pain in your mouth. I checked with the dentist about this. After the check-up, he told ulcer was a small thing but I have serious gum disease that needed to be treated with good care because it was really bad. I was appointed for 2 sessions for the scaling and gum disease treatment. I was given antibiotics for the ulcer. Is the ulcer caused by gum disease? I have a decent dental hygiene. How did the gum disease happen?
