What is the likelihood of a positive outcome were we to hire a small claims lawyer ?
#1
My mother had a severe headache and we decided to consult a doctor over there. He diagnosed the situation and informed that it was just migraine and provided tablets. But after one week she was vomiting continuously and her left side of her body was paralyzed. We immediately took her to another hospital and the doctor diagnosed and informed that blood has been clotted in her brain and surgery should be done immediately as she was in a critical situation. The actual cause of headache couldn't identify due to the wrong diagnosis of the doctor. We've decided to sue that doctor who advised the wrong treatment. What is the likelihood of a positive outcome were we to hire a small claims lawyer in Mississauga or should represent ourselves in small claims court?
