I would like to surprise my wife with a countertop with antique finish. She's a big fan of antique wood which brings in more character to the room. The present counter top is of Quartaz. I would like to surprise her with this on her birthday which is 20 days away. I looked into antique flooring options and found some cool colors to work with. But which wood is best to go for in such purposes?
