Every time I start a home project, it somehow ends up costing more than I planned even when I think I’ve covered everything. Either material prices go up, or I forget to include small things that add up fast.
I’ve been trying to plan better this time, maybe by breaking things down or getting more detailed estimates before starting. Curious how others here manage their budgets do you track everything manually or use some kind of app or spreadsheet?
